What is coaching?
Coaching is a process that allows you to work through your thoughts and ideas so that you can achieve personal and professional goals. It can include personal coaching, life coaching, professional coaching, but ultimately it is an investment in your future through a greater understanding of yourself.
What does a personal coach do?
A personal coach guides you through the coaching process, helping you raise your self-awareness without judging or directing, so that the decisions you make are right for you.
Who is personal coaching for?
Coaching is for anyone that is looking to develop in their personal or professional life. For some this might mean they are looking to make or adapt to change, whilst for others it might be a desire to achieve a long held ambition or simply achieve a greater sense of purpose or fulfilment.
What is the difference between coaching and counselling?
Coaching works on the principle that as a coachee you are creative, resourceful and whole, i.e. you are not broken and in need of ‘fixing’. Instead you have the capacity to identify and act on your own solutions. Coaching is therefore solution driven, focusing on the present and future, unlike counselling which looks to resolve hurt or pain from the past.
What is a ‘Chemistry’ Session?
A chemistry session is an introductory conversation held between a prospective coach and coachee. It is an opportunity for the coach to outline in more detail what coaching involves and for you as a prospective coachee to ask questions. During the call we will explore the benefits you hope to gain from our time together so that we can confirm that coaching is the right approach for you at this time.
